Job Description:

As a CT Technologist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will play a critical role in operating computed tomography equipment and accessories to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will be essential in applying principles of radiation protection during exams to minimize unnecessary exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all CT exams under the direction of a Radiologist
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results
  • Evaluate images and data for technical quality
  • Select proper technical factors and operate equipment and accessories as directed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Education program
  • Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, with injection certification
  • ARRT Certification required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire
  • 2 or more years of experience as CT Technologist is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and to assess lab values that pertain to exam. You will be required to maintain a satisfactory attendance record and participate in on-call and holiday rotation assignments as assigned.

Education and Experience:

A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Education program is required. Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology is required, with injection certification. ARRT Certification is required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire. 2 or more years of experience as CT Technologist is preferred.
