The Sales Executive role at Marriott is a dynamic opportunity for individuals to drive revenue growth and contribute to the company's success. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, CA, this position offers a chance to work with a world-renowned hospitality brand.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively soliciting new business opportunities, identifying share shift targets, and collaborating with Multi-Hotel Sales teams. You will work closely with Property Sales Leaders to ensure effective funnel management and daily Status Change reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities to drive revenue growth and achieve hotel topline goals
  • Identify top accounts and coordinate efforts to drive demand and pull-through business from these accounts
  • Collaborate with Multi-Hotel Sales teams to establish coordinated sales efforts
  • Solicit new business opportunities from non-deployed small business accounts, reader boards, and internal referral mechanisms
  • Utilize internal lead referral tools to solicit new business opportunities and contacts
  • Conduct site inspections for customer accounts as appropriate
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date lead information on each account in CI/TY SFA Web and EMPOWER
  • Qualify and maintain customer long-term business potential and refer customers to market, field, hotel or national sales office as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
  • PREFERRED: 4-year college degree; previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline; knowledge of property-specific business segments (e.g. group, catering, transient); knowledge of the hospitality industry

Salary Range

$89,000 - $110,000 annually, plus quarterly bonus
