Job Summary

Cottage Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care within the scope of practice
  • Use knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care
  • Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs
  • Provide quality care in an efficient and safe manner consistent with policies and procedures for the department
  • Resolve patient care and departmental situations within the scope of responsibility and refer problems beyond that scope to appropriate individuals
  • Assist with data collection in research studies being conducted in the work area
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited RN program
  • Current RN NH License
  • One year of RN experience preferred (willing to train the right person)
  • Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
  • Requires bending, crouching, or kneeling
  • Requires use of hands, keyboarding, and fine motor skills, lifting up to twenty pounds
  • Occasionally moving objects up to 100 pounds
