Position Overview
UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH), part of UMMS, is seeking a Full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to enhance our community-focused Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care with responsibilities in the wound care center.
- Collaborate with a dedicated and collegial healthcare team.
- Preferred candidates will possess experience in wound care; hyperbaric experience is advantageous.

Experience & Skills: A minimum of two years of experience in wound care nursing and at least two years as an adult Nurse Practitioner is preferred. Experience in an outpatient setting is also desirable. Candidates must maintain an NPI number and DEA.
Education & Credentials:
- Master’s degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and an unrestricted license in the state of practice.
- Completion of a 40-hour introductory hyperbaric medicine course approved by recognized medical societies within the last three years.
- Privileges to practice hyperbaric medicine in accordance with facility credentialing criteria.
- ACLS certification is required if hyperbaric treatments are conducted outside the main hospital or if response times for emergency teams may exceed five minutes.
