POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving maintenance requests from guests. Your role will involve effective communication with guests to troubleshoot and rectify maintenance concerns with minimal supervision. You will also conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and well-lubricated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs.
2. Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery.
3. Identify and operate shut-off valves for various equipment.
4. Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Demonstrate proficiency in at least three of the following areas, with above-average skills in three additional categories and basic skills in the remaining:
- Air conditioning and refrigeration
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Plumbing
- Pneumatic/electronic systems
- Carpentry and finishing
- Kitchen equipment maintenance
- Energy conservation
- General building management

SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with company standards and local regulations. Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system prior to performing any maintenance work. Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to safety protocols.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support team objectives. Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members, addressing concerns and service needs promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License and relevant certifications required.
