Position Overview:

The IS&T Senior Business Applications Consultant collaborates with teams to convert business requirements into effective solutions, which may involve product configurations, development, training, or process enhancements.

This role encompasses projects addressing new requirements as well as ongoing operations aimed at identifying and refining existing processes and systems.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehend the business context and objectives of the project.

2. Collaborate with Product/Business Owners, Project Management, and Technical Teams to conduct analyses pertinent to the implementation of new or modified business processes and/or enhanced internally developed software or third-party applications.

3. Assess the appropriate sizing of requirements and decompose larger scopes into manageable components as necessary.

4. Collect and document functional business requirements for use by business and technical teams in non-custom development projects.

5. Prepare stakeholder analyses and deliver the RACI matrix.

6. Organize and facilitate workshops with stakeholders, in partnership with other team members.

7. Elicit the genuine needs of stakeholders; analyze and synthesize the information provided.

8. Evaluate the discrepancies between the current solution and the proposed solution.

9. Consistently support efforts to streamline the integration of various systems, applications, and platforms.

10. Work alongside software architects, UX designers, and cross-functional development teams.

11. Produce high-quality deliverables such as scope of work, business requirement documents, process workflows, specifications documents, test plans, and training materials.

12. Manage the requirements lifecycle, ensuring traceability from business requirements to testing.

13. Define and validate solutions that align with business needs, goals, or objectives.

14. Participate in the evaluation and benchmarking of market solutions as necessary.

15. Assist the Project or Delivery Manager in the planning and execution of projects or initiatives.

16. Prepare and execute various test scenarios (functional and integration).

17. Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase prior to deployment.

18. Support project teams during the implementation of solutions.

19. Deliver training sessions and documentation.

20. Provide hypercare support following delivery.

21. Perform other duties as assigned.
