Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a patient-centric role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of computer software and cash registers
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Preferred qualifications include six months of experience in a retail environment, prior work experience with Walgreens, good math skills, and good computer skills
- PTCB certification is preferred
