Job Overview

nou Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Liaison to join our Engineering Services Team in Fort Belvoir, VA. As a key member of our team, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with government agencies to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and concepts that can advance the MDA mission.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to the MDA Director of Advanced Concepts Evaluation and the MDA Chief Architect.
  • Track the progress of relevant programs and technologies.
  • Serve as a liaison between MDA and government agencies during program consultations, planning, and execution of joint activities.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science.
  • At least 12 years of full-time professional experience in a technical field related to missile defense and/or technical analysis of a complex Department of Defense (DoD) weapon system.
  • Must be eligible to obtain or have an active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility; minimum SECRET level clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Must be able to work at our customer site on Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, Virginia.
  • United States citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Special Access Program (SAP) or working with highly classified information.
  • In-depth knowledge of MDA components and technologies.
  • Understanding of the DoD and MDA acquisition processes.
  • Experience conducting or overseeing architecture development and assessment of alternatives.
  • Experience working with USG and corporate senior technical staff and executives.
  • Experience interacting with and advising senior-level government customers.
  • Experience generating briefings, white papers, and presenting information at the executive level.
