Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care, services, and health education for residents.
- Supervise the care provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members responsible for resident care
- Administer safe and precise medication-related interventions
- Evaluate residents' health and inform physicians of any changes; promptly implement new medical orders
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and implement nursing interventions
- Select and apply appropriate nursing strategies to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications
- Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the formulation of care plans
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
- CPR certification required
