Occupational Therapist - Extended School Year Program

Soliant is partnering with a well-established educational institution in New Jersey to find a dedicated Occupational Therapist for their Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position offers competitive compensation and a flexible part-time schedule.

About the Position:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, fostering their development and independence.
• Collaborate effectively with educators and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment for each student.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to meet specific student goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, documenting achievements and areas for continued growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding therapy goals, strategies, and student outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid New Jersey State license in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work seamlessly within a team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
• Flexibility and adaptability in tailoring therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of individual students.
