About the Role

This PRN opportunity is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner with 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support the development of our patients' treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in our Inpatient Consult Service
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges
  • Eligible to provide services reimbursable by Medicare and Medicaid
