Recruiter - Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recruiter to join our team at SELECTEMP Employment Services. As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize various channels to source and attract active and passive candidates, including job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
- Candidate Evaluation: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Interviewing and Presenting: Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit, and prepare and present candidate profiles to internal Client Managers for review and presentation to clients.
- Candidate Management: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, conduct reference checks, and verify employment history and credentials.
- Job Offer Negotiation: Negotiate and extend job offers to selected candidates.
- Talent Pool Development: Build and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates for future job openings.
- Industry Trends and Market Conditions: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Experience: Provide excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Practice Leader and other team members to achieve recruitment targets and goals.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience providing customer service support or working in a professional setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak clearly in both positive and negative situations.
- Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Teamwork: Proven success at working well in teams and independently.
- Education: Degree in business or other related field.
- Experience: Previous experience recruiting in the staffing industry.
- Technical Skills: Google Suite experience and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Certifications: Certified Staffing Professional certification, or related.
