About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recruiter to join our team at SELECTEMP Employment Services. As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize various channels to source and attract active and passive candidates, including job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Interviewing and Presenting: Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit, and prepare and present candidate profiles to internal Client Managers for review and presentation to clients.
  • Candidate Management: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, conduct reference checks, and verify employment history and credentials.
  • Job Offer Negotiation: Negotiate and extend job offers to selected candidates.
  • Talent Pool Development: Build and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates for future job openings.
  • Industry Trends and Market Conditions: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Practice Leader and other team members to achieve recruitment targets and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience providing customer service support or working in a professional setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak clearly in both positive and negative situations.
  • Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Teamwork: Proven success at working well in teams and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in business or other related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience recruiting in the staffing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Google Suite experience and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Certifications: Certified Staffing Professional certification, or related.
