Overview
As a Certified Medical Assistant at Lancaster General Health, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care in our part-time position at Family Medicine Crooked Oak. About the Position
This part-time role is designed to support patient care in a fast-paced medical office setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for visits, administering medications and injections, and providing clinical advice while ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and excellent communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold a current Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHTR). Additionally, you must have completed a Medical Assistant training/education program prior to hire and obtain your certification within six months of hire. CPR Certification is also required, as well as a valid driver's license for regional positions. You must be a health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs.

Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with one to two years of Medical Assistant experience in a primary or specialty care physician's office. However, all qualified candidates will be considered.
