Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide healthcare in a family practice clinical setting under the general direction of the Medical Director and Practice Administrator.

The successful candidate will be able to:

1. Obtain a comprehensive health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews;
2. Assess presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors;
3. Develop and implement treatment plan including prescribe/dispense medications in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws;
4. Diagnose disease states and administer appropriate treatment;
5. Document assessment and treatment plan clearly and concisely in patient chart, in a timely fashion;

You will also have the opportunity to communicate plan of treatment and care with patient/family to ensure patient awareness of self-management and health promotion/disease prevention.
