Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the freezer facility, including stacking and storing product, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and performing various tasks related to product preparation and storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality programs and processes.
  • Report any issues or concerns to management, including stacker jams, conveyor issues, and product quality concerns.
  • Prepare product for freezing, including stacking pallets, wrapping pallets, and labeling pallets.
  • Stock the freezer room with necessary supplies, including pallets, pallet pads, wrap, and labels.
  • Operate and maintain the cranes, including troubleshooting and adjusting settings as needed.
  • Load pallets onto backhaul trailers.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with safety procedures and policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand basic safety and orientation knowledge, systems flow, and departmental overview.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass proficiency tests after training.
