We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend OR RN Shift Coordinator/Charge RN. This role requires a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide direct patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Assist and support staff in responding to patient/family complaints, physician concerns, and risk management issues.
- Collaborate with the staffing office to adjust staffing numbers based on census changes.
- Communicate effectively with the oncoming Charge Nurse to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Support unit management team in managing department productivity and staffing.
- Perform evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- ASN/ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain a BSN within four years of hire.
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of three years of RN nursing experience.
