• Troubleshoot molding processes, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Evaluate and improve tooling for quality and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Train process technicians in scientific molding techniques.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to drive process excellence.
• Program robots and peripheral equipment to optimize production.
• Ensure smooth plant operations and maintain a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Engineering or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred; or 10+ years of injection molding experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on injection molding experience with scientific molding knowledge.
• Familiarity with injection molding and ancillary equipment.
• Understanding of various thermoplastic materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical, with validation expertise.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly use hands and arms.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Work performed in an ISO 13485 clean room with specific dress code requirements.
