About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Professional to join our team at Extrity Services. As a key member of our special-events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their premises.

As an Armed Security Professional, you will work closely with our Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or Regional Manager to implement security protocols, monitor activities, and respond to incidents with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce access control procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain and report on the functionality of security equipment.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, following established protocols.
  • Document incidents accurately, preparing detailed reports.
  • Assist with investigations by providing timely information.
  • Provide truthful and timely data, including incident reports and shift reports.
Requirements
  • Experience in conducting patrols, surveillance, and managing security incidents.
  • Knowledge of security equipment and its proper usage.
  • Understanding of emergency protocols and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with access control procedures and identification verification.
  • Your own tactical equipment.
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures (not required).
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (as needed).
