Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience
License: Current New York State RN License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Job Requirements:
- EPIC experience
- Procedural sedation experience
- Experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
Job Description:
As a valued member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Your expertise will be essential in managing and delivering patient care, delegating responsibilities as appropriate, and leading the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician.
You will participate in the EPIC conversion process, requiring EPIC experience, and complete training from approved groups for onboarding and clearance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with COVID vaccination recommendations and respect the dress code by wearing personal scrubs of any color, avoiding designs or cartoons.
As a member of our team, you will be available to work holidays as needed, with no more than 5 days of requested time off. You will provide work history, a skills checklist pertinent to the position, and a supervisory reference from within the past two years.
