Welding Fabricator

**Job Summary**

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team. As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, gathering, and welding of steel material for our clients' products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assemble and weld steel materials to meet quality requirements
• Operate hand tools such as grinders, drills, and impacts as required by the job
• Ensure work meets quality requirements as determined by quality control and production supervision
• Read and understand blueprints to complete work
• Operate overhead crane and unload raw materials
• Add, subtract, and divide as required by the job
• Read and use tape measures and lift 50+ lbs

**Requirements:**

• 1+ years of prior MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to operate overhead crane and unload raw materials
• Ability to add, subtract, and divide
• Ability to read and use tape measures and lift 50+ lbs

**Work Environment:**

The work environment is non-climate controlled. Safety gear is provided, including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Work attire requires steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and a minimum of a short sleeve shirt.
