About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team in Athens, Georgia. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee project finances, including profitability and cash flow, to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure project specifications meet requirements.
  • Lead strategic planning, project submittal, and change order processes to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Implement monthly cost reports and accurate cost projections to inform project decisions.
  • Research and suggest options for construction means, methods, and timelines to optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report any issues.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on mechanical projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office, Excel, and Word, with experience in AutoBid, P6 Scheduler, and Bluebeam a plus.
