We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Chemistry Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses to students, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
Key Responsibilities- Teach chemistry courses to students, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry
- Develop and implement curriculum for chemistry courses, including course syllabi and instructional materials
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
- Stay current with developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into teaching and research
- Masters degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 18 graduate hours in Chemistry
- Experience teaching chemistry courses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
