Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Assist patients with breathing exercises, oxygen therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in an inpatient respiratory therapy department.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
