Job Summary:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to post-operative cardiovascular patients, post-operative thoracic patients, heart and lung transplant patients, advanced heart failure patients, and patients with supportive devices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including hemodynamic stability, respiratory function, and cardiac function.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital policies.
- Participate in unit-based councils and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- License/Certification: RN – Registered Nurse, min 1 year ICU experience, BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
