Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at 1st Advantage Dental. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care and promoting preventive oral health to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical techniques and technologies to provide the highest level of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in the state of Maryland.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
