Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to become a vital part of our innovative CPA firm. The ideal candidate is driven by the desire to enhance their knowledge, demonstrate their skills, and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive monthly and quarterly accounting assistance
  • Conducting thorough reviews of client general ledgers
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for effective financial management
  • Managing payroll processing efficiently
  • Executing journal entries accurately
  • Maintaining precise bookkeeping practices

Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years of experience in general accounting
  • Experience in construction accounting is highly advantageous
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online
  • A college degree is preferred; however, 7+ years of general accounting experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Experience in a CPA firm is a plus
  • Exceptional time management abilities
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Proven capability to collaborate within a small team environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
