We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate and document all accidents and incidents, and implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate the development of health and safety training programs and ensure that all employees receive regular training and updates.
  • Act as Secretary for the Health and Safety Committee and ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with all aspects of relevant health, safety, and welfare at work and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports to the Health and Safety Committee on relevant health and safety activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an industrial, environmental, and facilities management environment.
  • Experience in administrative work and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

$25/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6 hours per day, flexible with time
