Looking for a dynamic and experienced Rock Wall Climbing Coach to join our team at Apex Park and Recreation District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching indoor rock climbing classes to members of all ages and skill levels.

Job Summary

The Rock Wall Climbing Coach will be responsible for teaching indoor rock climbing classes, providing instruction and guidance, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for rock climbing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of participants.

Responsibilities

  • Teach indoor rock climbing classes to members of all ages and skill levels
  • Provide instruction and guidance to participants
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Develop and implement lesson plans
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and organization
  • Communicate with participants, parents, and staff

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience teaching rock climbing classes
  • Current certification in rock climbing instruction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of participants
  • Passion for rock climbing and a commitment to providing a high-quality experience for members
