Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at the Illinois Department of Human Services Treatment & Detention Facility (TDF). As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to detained and civilly committed adult sexual offenders.
About the Role
The TDF is a state-of-the-art secure residential treatment facility that provides a wide array of mental health services. Our team of dedicated clinicians is comprised of over thirty Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Counselors, Psychiatrists, and Recreation Therapists. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as primary therapist to assigned residents/clients
- Administering various tests and assessments (within scope of license)
- Developing individualized treatment plans and monitoring client progress
- Documenting clinical services and resident/client progress
- Delivering cognitive behavioral treatment, psycho-education, and other treatment to individuals and groups
- Serving as a contributing member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Attending and actively participating in staff meetings, case conferences, and training activities

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a similar behavioral health field. Professional licensure is not required, but Liberty Healthcare Corporation will provide support for you to become licensed in Illinois as an Associate Sex Offender Treatment Provider.
