Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • ACLS & PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment).
  • At least two years critical care experience in the ED, ICU, or PACU.
