Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer II at HP Hood, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation through the planning and execution of capital projects. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and contractors, to plan and schedule capital projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
  • Lead project teams to ensure projects stay on track and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Implement quality control processes and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and innovate feedback into projects.
  • Support continuous improvement of production, safety, and food safety management systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Strong background in engineering principles with a combination of hands-on and analytical skills.
