Xcel Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer Intern to support the Transmission system protection engineering team.

As an engineering intern, you will work closely with the engineering staff to perform various operational tasks, including protection coordination and short circuit studies. You will gain significant professional confidence and people skills through practical operations experience and mentoring.

This is a summer internship opportunity with the potential to extend into a school semester. The ideal candidate should be able to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.

Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program, studying areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil, and chemical engineering.
