Job Overview

The ideal candidate will independently execute preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and repair production and facility machinery to maintain optimal operational efficiency.

We are currently in search of a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve equipment irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace faulty machinery components
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery
  • Execute work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure timely completion of priority tasks
  • Respond swiftly to plant emergencies and breakdowns
  • Possess welding skills for aluminum parts or demonstrate a willingness to learn
  • Support the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
  • Assist in the procurement of necessary parts, tools, and equipment in collaboration with the Production Manager

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, including hydraulics and pneumatics, along with associated components such as valves, cylinders, pumps, and compressors
  • Familiarity with melting furnaces (gas and electric), heat treat ovens, and aging ovens, or a willingness to learn
  • Basic electrical skills are essential
  • Previous experience with automatic green sand distribution systems and automatic molding machines is advantageous
  • Availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as required
  • Regular work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 5 am to 3:30 pm
