Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Long Term Care (LTC)

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Polaris Health and Wellness of Ashton Court. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in our long-term care residents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address swallowing, cognitive, and communication deficits.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' communication and swallowing needs.
  • Lead and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current CCC certification and licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • 2+ years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
