Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Southern Colorado Retina MSO, LLC. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our clinic by providing patient care and conducting patient screening tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare first-time patient visits, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Conduct prescribed patient screening tests, utilizing your knowledge of retinal and ophthalmic sciences.
  • Escort patients from room to room, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; COA or COT preferred.
  • Prior ophthalmic technician experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
  • Ability to use internet, email, MS Office, and other job-related software products.

Working Conditions:

This role operates in a fast-paced, professional office environment, with moderate exposure to ambient or loud noises. You will be required to stand or sit for extended periods, bend at the waist, and use your hands and fingers to handle and file papers or operate assigned equipment.
