Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Class A City Driver to join our team at our Phoenixville, PA Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, adhering to federal regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle safely while transporting general freight.
  • Load and unload trailers, using mechanical equipment when necessary.
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, pulling, and carrying freight.
  • Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Comply with federal regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including driver's logs and other documentation.
Requirements
  • A minimum age of 23 years of age.
  • Two years of verifiable driving experience or completion of an approved driving school program.
  • Pass a driving test administered by a certified trainer.
  • Owning a valid driver's license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Providing accurate information about previous driving licenses and suspensions.
  • No record of serious traffic violations or excessive citations.
  • A clean driving record with no history of accidents or reckless driving.
  • Passing a DOT physical examination and consenting to a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Providing documentation for gaps in employment history and agreeing to a background check.
  • Having strong communication and problem-solving skills.
