We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Physician to join our team at Cross Country Locums.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with assigned office hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, including a 1-hour lunch break. Additionally, you will be required to cover lunchtime calls once a month. No weekend, holiday, or on-call duties are expected.
Work Environment:
This role will be based in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
Scope of Work:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with an acute and chronic adult inpatient population, with a preference for those with experience in forensic psychiatry. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
A valid VA medical license and DEA certification are mandatory for this position. Additionally, proficiency in Cerner Millennium EHR is required. Credentialing typically takes 4-6 weeks.
