Executive Chef

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service and hospitality to our residents.

• Manage the daily operations of the dining room, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Supervise and train a team of culinary staff to ensure high-quality food service and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Manage food and labor budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving established targets.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and engagement.

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional food service and hospitality.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, as needed.
