Role Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Field People Operations Partner in cultivating a positive workplace atmosphere, overseeing HR functions, and supporting restaurant teams across various locations. This position requires travel within the designated area, and candidates must possess a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. On-site HR Assistance:
  • Deliver direct HR support to multiple restaurant sites within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to resolve employee relations issues, including performance challenges and disciplinary matters.
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Support the recruitment process by partnering with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
  1. Compliance and Audits:
  • Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal standards, including labor laws and safety regulations.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Organize training sessions on essential topics such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and customer service excellence.
  1. Collaboration with Corporate HR:
  • Work in conjunction with corporate HR to implement organization-wide HR initiatives, including benefits enrollment and performance evaluation processes.
  1. Employee Engagement and Retention:
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies aimed at enhancing employee retention and overall morale.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Oversee HR-related administrative functions, including maintaining employee records, tracking attendance, and processing payroll data.
  1. Conflict Resolution:
  • Engage in employee conflict resolution, mediating disputes, and implementing effective solutions.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR to enhance HR processes and policies continuously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR or related fields.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant HR tools.
  • Capability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated area to provide on-site HR support.
