About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Mountain Animal Hospital Center in Eagle, Colorado. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients, while also developing and implementing clinical strategies to drive business growth and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes
  • Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff to achieve clinical excellence and business goals
  • Collaborate with hospital management to drive financial performance and revenue growth
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attending continuing education meetings and conferences
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Colorado
  • 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferably in a veterinary setting
  • 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong clinical background
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
