This position requires the execution of detailed financial modeling, thorough market analysis, and extensive due diligence to support clients and enhance the investment banking team's ability to manage intricate financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed financial assessments, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence, to aid M&A, capital raising, and various investment banking functions.
- Create comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and reports for client interactions and transaction proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitive assessments to uncover industry trends, market prospects, and potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of financial transactions, including drafting necessary documentation and liaising with legal, accounting, and other advisory professionals.
- Support the structuring and negotiation of deal terms, offering insights and recommendations to enhance transaction results.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance and key metrics of companies involved in transactions, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and team members to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and precise completion of deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or a comparable role.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
- Thorough understanding of investment banking products and services, including M&A, capital markets, and financial restructuring.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial databases.
- Experience in transaction execution and client relationship management.
- Professional certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is preferred.
