Oral Surgery Technician

We are seeking a skilled Oral Surgery Technician to join our dynamic team at Shared Practices Group.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in a lab and a strong background as a Dental Assistant. They will be passionate about surgery, have excellent communication skills, and be able to perform physically demanding work.

• Assist the dentist with all surgical procedure-related tasks in the lab and operatory.
• Print STL files, remove supports from printed prosthetics, and pour impressions.
• Create bite blocks, polish traditional dentures, and scan patients' intraoral structures.
• Pack and track cases coming into and out of the office.
• Support impression-taking processes and characterize PMMA/Temp prints.
• Troubleshoot and maintain printers.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Optimize supply usage and equipment maintenance.
• Continuously improve quality results through process evaluation and redesign.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience working in a lab.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably for a prosthodontist.
• In-depth knowledge of denture and implant procedures.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift equipment.
• Fabulous communication skills and a positive attitude.
