ABOUT US:

We are a nationwide organization with opportunities available across the country. Our engaging children's soccer program emphasizes character development. While we continue to expand, we maintain a family-oriented approach, treating our employees as part of a team and the children we instruct as our own. We provide training for our coaches in leadership, communication, early childhood education, and sports management. Our mission is to deliver high-quality foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifelong love of the sport, leaving a positive impact on every child we serve.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidates for our internship must have a passion for working with children and a love for soccer. Reliable transportation is essential, and prior experience in early childhood education is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES:

The intern will be expected to present themselves professionally, consistently arriving on time for scheduled office hours, coaching sessions, and events. Responsibilities will include assisting in the execution of a soccer season and participating in instructing sessions, providing valuable experience in youth coaching and parent interaction. Assignments may be tailored to your interests in the following areas:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coaching will constitute approximately 60% of your internship, including travel to various locations. The intern must have their own vehicle and prioritize the safety of children in their care.

Interns should be:

  • Caring: Engaging with each child through positive affirmation.
  • Organized: Planning ahead and following lesson plans to maintain order during sessions.
  • Responsible: Committed to fulfilling their role as the coach and representative of our program.
  • Energetic: Creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that encourages participation.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT:

Interns will assist in executing the scheduled soccer season and may participate in the interview and evaluation process for future coaches.

SALES, MARKETING, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Responsibilities may include running demonstrations and attending promotional events.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

Tasks may involve creating and distributing enrollment forms and promotional materials, maintaining records of equipment, and preparing seasonal prizes and certificates.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Interns are encouraged to attend team meetings and submit a final report on their experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This internship involves both office and outdoor sports environments. Interns should be prepared for physical activity, including running and lifting equipment as needed.

INTERNSHIP STRUCTURE:

The internship will encompass a minimum of 200 hours over a consecutive period, with initial weeks focused on preparation for the upcoming season, followed by hands-on coaching and support once the season begins.
