Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist Multi Reg to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures at a technical level, with minimal supervision.
  • Assure the highest degree of quality performance and patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, according to their physical needs and limitations.
  • Provide quality ultrasound services, including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
  • Photograph images of organs shown on display module, or remove strip printout from equipment to obtain permanent record of internal examination.
  • Work collaboratively with the ultrasound team to meet the needs of the department.
  • Travel to other satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • RDMS or ARRT(S) registered or Registry Eligible (must obtain initial registry within six months of hire date).
  • RDMS (AB) registration within six months of hire date, if RDMS registered.
  • RDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS), or ARRT (VS) acceptable for vascular certification.
  • RDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) acceptable for echocardiography specialties.
  • OB/GYN, Abdominal, and Small parts experience required.
  • Neurological and limited vascular experience preferred.
