Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team at the University of Kentucky Hospital. This is a travel nursing position with a duration of 14 weeks, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the Role: As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art intensive care unit. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in our ICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with our healthcare team
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as an ICU Nurse, preferably in a teaching hospital setting
- Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky or ability to obtain
- Valid BLS certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
