Job Summary

As a Patient Care Technician at Norman Regional Hospital Authority, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a recognized patient care training program or one clinical semester of nursing school preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age and a minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $13.21-$21.58, depending on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential of $1.50/hr, night differential of $1.75/hr, and weekend differential of $1.75/hr.
