Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide clinical expertise and support patient care in our practice.

About the Job:

This role involves preparing patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs. You will also prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Take patient histories and vital signs
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms
  • Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
  • Twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting, or current Medical Assistant certification
  • Candidates without Medical Assistant Certification must obtain it within one year of hire date
  • Active RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred
