Key Responsibilities- Provide direct client services in Lea County, including sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, family planning services, immunizations, and medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
- Travel daily to Lea County Public Health Offices to provide services.
- Collaborate with contract nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain standards of nursing care and practice, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or eligibility for such licensure.
- Three years of experience in a medical clinic setting, with expertise in administering immunizations and testing and treating STDs.
- Proficient in multiple computer programs and able to work autonomously in a clinic setting.
This position requires daily car travel, driving a state vehicle to and from public health offices. The ideal candidate will be able to lift 25 pounds and work in an office setting with extensive computer and telephone usage.
