We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington in Vermont. As a member of our hospitality team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Job Overview

The DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington is Vermont's largest hotel and conference center, offering over 30,000 square feet of event space, guest rooms, and public areas. Our hotel has undergone a significant $16 million renovation to enhance the quality of our facilities and services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and orderliness
  • Greet customers upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
  • Presentation of menus and assistance with food and beverage selection
  • Taking and serving orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues or complaints
  • Collaborating with other servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure seamless service
  • Handling payments and issuing bills
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a server or in a related role
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a focus on evening shifts, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be able to commute or relocate to South Burlington, VT (05403). While prior restaurant experience is preferred, we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
