Position Overview:
The role involves preparing work by reviewing fabrication instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathering necessary components, tools, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute drilling and preparation of materials as per work orders and fabrication sheets.
- Complete daily work orders, conduct parts inspections, and perform calculations and measurements.
- Ensure all parts are fabricated in accordance with prints, worksheets, and shop drawings.
- Assemble components by verifying connections for proper fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to perform various activities in a warehouse setting, which may involve prolonged periods of lifting, standing, and carrying.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively.

- Proficient in taking measurements using a standard measuring tape.

- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
- Familiarity with tools such as air-powered tools, hand tools, drills, and adhesives.
Safety Requirements:
- Personal Protective Equipment: Hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, cut-resistant gloves, and other equipment as required by the department.
- Adhere to all safety protocols within the facility.- Awareness of potential hazards including chemical exposure, noise, and physical strain.
